The Chamber has established to build a strong reputation as a body that facilitates business development through a various range of developmental programs. The Chamber has developed to further support bilateral trade by providing opportunities for business people to be informed by and exposed to the ideas of successful leaders and professionals. Business relationships are developed at a personal level and the Chamber provides support for this process. These opportunities have complemented the growth and role of the Department for International Trade, Austrade and various Pakistani government agencies.
The mission of the Australia-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce is to advocate, foster and assist Chamber Members to grow their businesses through a series of programs, events, and community based partnerships. The Chamber of Commerce is the business community working together. Together, the chamber does what no person or group can accomplish alone.
The Chamber’s task is community development and we also indulge in day-to-day operations such as providing fully independent advice and assistance on a large range of business activities and information. The Committee is made up of volunteers and new members are always welcome. We also hold hands with the leading companies and organisations in helping our community people having the full access of the opportunities. This includes development of industry and trade, handling of civic activities, and public relations. The variety and scope of activities is unlimited.
The Chamber welcomes newcomers, visitors and others to be part of this community and we are ever ready to elaborate “What, Why and How” we work. This is further implied on a voluntary membership basis.
Business, industry, and the professions are represented as ONE in the chamber. Membership consists of those who have a desire to create a better community and business climate. Create opportunities for education and networking with other professionals in a continuum. Constitution and by-laws are governed by a president, president-elect, treasurer and the other officials.
The Chamber is an independently constituted organisation operating in all states. It has a strong relationship with Pakistan High Commissioner and the Pakistani Consul-Generals. This provides access to key officials both directly and through Department for International Trade.
We are committed in building a respected bilateral relationship between Australia and Pakistan over the regulatory authorities and by operating with the greater communities in delivering a fair national economical growth, trade & employment to all our community members.
