Muhammad Asif
– President
Mr. Muhammad Asif is the current President of Australia Pakistan Chamber of Commerce. He is the CEO of Easylink Group comprising of Easylink Finance Australia Pty Limited, Easylink Tours & Travels and Instant Services Pty Limited. He is a well-known figure in the local community and continually strives to build a respectful bilateral relationship between Australian and Pakistani business communities in association with the Pakistan High Commission in Canberra and Pakistan Consulate in Sydney.
Mr. Asif is a business professional with MBA from Karachi, a Bachelor in Law and Master in Arts from the University of Karachi. He has more than a decade of dedicated service as a Senior Executive with Habib Bank, both in Pakistan and Australia.
Beginning as a Relationship Manager with Habib Bank, Corporate Centre, in Karachi Pakistan in 1998, he quickly made his mark and in 1999 moved to the position of Corporate Centre General Manager, Marketing. In 2000, Mr. Asif was then appointed to the position of General Manager, Operations for HBL. In 2002, he was transferred as the Country Head for Habib Finance (Australia) Limited (HFAL).
Mr. Asif also publishes a community news magazine, Sangat, which provides topical local and international news, in particular from Pakistan.
Adj Professor Asif Iqbal
– Senior Vice President
Adjunct Professor Asif Iqbal is a leading professional in Australian higher education sector with background in educational institutions development, course accreditations and international institutional articulations.
Prof Iqbal has over twenty-five years’ experience as an academic, most of it in academic management roles. Educated in several countries, Prof Iqbal’s initial commerce degree in Pakistan and a degree from the UK was followed by employment as an academic at the Assumption University of Bangkok and as the Head of the Marketing Department at the Bradford University, Bangkok Campus/Centre.
Prof Iqbal is currently the Dean & CEO of Southern Cross Institute (SCI) – a Sydney based higher education institute. He has been a member of various corporate and academic committees at the University of Wollongong, Australian Catholic University, Central Queensland University and the University of Newcastle.
As member of the CPA Australia Universities Committee, he played a key participant’s role in
establishing a new membership pathway through study of foundation courses.
Ejaz Muhammad Paracha
– Vice President
Ejaz is a senior project manager in the construction industry. With a bachelor’s degree in Architectural design and Construction Management, he has over 30 years’ experience overseeing various construction projects. His particular expertise is in the turnkey projects in the housing sector, where he has completed numerous projects throughout the New South Wales. Ejaz is a result oriented professional with strong business ethics and his client management skills ensure smooth construction processes and successful outcomes.
Being an active member of the community, Ejaz has helped organise numerous social activities for the local community. Ejaz has also volunteered for various causes and is at the forefront to facilitate and assist the charities from Pakistan.
He is keen to develop opportunities for the Pakistani businesses, in particular in relation to the construction sector.
Dr. Aftab Rizvi
– Vice President
Internationally renowned Information Security consultant and Entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience. Has been heavily involved in the compliance of the e-commerce industry since its establishment and is considered as one of the world leaders in Information Security audits and compliance services.
Involved in introducing the (ISC)2 and ISACA Academic Program internationally for CISSP, with special focus in developing countries. This effort has been recognized by the (ISC) 2 by awarding the Information Security Leadership Achievement (ISLA) Award.
Vast experience in reviewing and implementing compliance programmes in various industry verticals. Currently, focused on the Information Security and compliance programmes related to ATM security, PCI DSS, PA DSS, ISO 27001, HIPPA, NDB (Australia) and GDPR (Europe) standards, with customers based in the Americas, Europe, South Asia, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Ali Abid

Extensive project management, delivering on time, within budget and without comprising quality.
A diligent and dedicated Professional who delivered outstanding results with successfully introducing Lean Manufacturing, reducing inventory, minimising waste, reducing cost, saving time and increasing return on investment for shareholders.
Habib Rehman
– Public Relations Executive
Habib is an engineer with extensive experience in consulting and business development. He has worked with local and state governments as consultant and advised various government and private organisations on engineering matters related to water management. He runs a consultancy practice in Sydney and his work is well regarded throughout Australia. Habib is at the forefront of technical excellence in his profession and is well known for his contribution to engineering in Australia.
Habib’s other business interest is in sports. His business designs sports apparel, which is made in Pakistan and then imported to Australia for local consumption. His business supports local sports clubs and sponsors local soccer teams.
He is a member of professional and business organisations including Engineers Australia, NSW Business Chamber and Sydney Hills Business Chamber.
